Manager and funeral director Barry Hayman has been involved in the funeral industry for over 21 years and holds a National Certificate in Funeral Directing. In his leisure time Barry enjoys tending his garden, swimming and sailing his yacht with his wife Beth in the beautiful Marlborough Sounds

Lloyd Bush
Lloyd holds a National Certificate in Funeral Directing and is a registered Funeral Director. Having worked for Geoffrey T Sowman since 2003, Lloyd comes from a horticultural background and has lived in Marlborough all his life, now with wife Ang and their young family. He is an avid 'do it yourself' renovator, enjoys gardening, travelling and indulging in his passion for flying and cycling.

Sandra Glen
Sandra, a funeral director at Sowman's, has had 11 years' experience in the funeral industry. She has a counselling qualification and has been involved with the Nelson Victim Support Group and the Nelson Regional Hospice for many years as team leader and counsellor/support person. Sandra has three adult daughters and a teenage son. In her leisure time she enjoys photography and painting with oils.

Jenny Andrews provides aftercare service for Geoffrey T Sowman's. She is a district councillor, a Justice of the Peace, enjoys reading, music, gardening, family and friends.

Alastair Hebberd
Funeral Director Alastair Hebberd joined Geoffrey T Sowman's in 2009, having been in the funeral industry since 2003. He holds a National Certificate in Embalming and is a registered member of NZEA. In his spare time, Alastair enjoys getting out on his bike, water sports and fishing from his boat. He married Emma in 2008 and together they enjoy the Marlborough area and, having moved here from Nelson, making this wonderful place their new home.

Jo has a National Certificate in Embalming and has been involved in the funeral industry since 1997. Jo and her family moved to Marlborough in 2005 and enjoy making the most of the lifestyle here. She especially enjoys hunting and fishing in the Sounds, along with her two children and partner.

Pip comes from a background in hospital and palliative care nursing and has recently transferred her caring skills into funeral directing. Pip and her husband Brett have four children enjoy surfing, paragliding and time spent together at their family bach.

Faye Partridge
Faye joined Sowmans in March 2008, after 26 years running her own secretarial/desktop publishing services outlet. Her formative working years were in the banking industry. She holds a Diploma in Business Administration and is AAPNZ Certified. Faye was born in Blenheim, is married with three adult sons and enjoys time with family and friends, as well as gardening, walking, biking and the Marlborough environment.
