Sowman's Mayfield Chapel can accommodate 140 people, with an extension foyer that allows for many more.

Geoffrey T Sowman Funeral Directors has served the Marlborough community for 135 years. Located on the corner of Hutchison and Parker Streets in the centre of Blenheim, the site includes an air-conditioned chapel, reception lounge and plenty of space for parking.
The Mayfield chapel and all its amenities are available for funeral services, and we have a piano/organ to accompany services. Sowman's can also provide a digital projector and screen, along with full CD facilities, and can record services both in audio and video/DVD.
Our catering lounge is an easy solution for people wanting to get together after the funeral service, without the hassle of catering and cleaning up afterwards.
There is also plenty of parking available, with special parking spaces next to the chapel for close relatives.
